Your multivitamin has zinc. So does your zinc.

Add the products you take, or type ingredients straight off the label. This page adds up what overlaps and shows where each total sits against the U.S. upper limit. No account, and the arithmetic runs in your browser.

Add a product

Search the products whose label amounts we hold. Not there? Type the ingredients in by hand below — that always works.

What you take

One line per ingredient, copied from the label. Add a line for each product, even when the ingredient repeats — the overlap is the point.

Start typing an ingredient and we suggest the names we hold a reference value for. Label names work too — “Cholecalciferol” lands on vitamin D.

Your totals

Add an ingredient and a dose, then choose “Add it up”.

Doing this by hand every morning gets old

In Vivledia you photograph the label instead of typing it, and the totals follow you day to day — so you find out before you swallow the second one, not after.

What leaves your browser

The arithmetic runs in your browser: your ingredient list, the totals, and the limit checks never go to a server. Searching for a product does send that search term to us so we can look it up — nothing else. There is no account, and we do not save what you enter, on your device or on ours. Close the tab and it is gone.

What these numbers are

Based on U.S. adult reference values — Daily Values from 21 CFR 101.9 and tolerable upper intake levels from the National Academies. Amounts are read as printed on the label, and because reference values and upper limits are defined on intake, absorption rates are not applied. Upper limits apply to long-term daily intake and are not a line between safe and harmful for any one day.

This page does arithmetic on published reference values. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent anything, and it is not a substitute for your clinician or pharmacist — talk to them before changing what you take, especially if you are pregnant, taking prescription medicine, or managing a condition.
